Kodiak Sand and Snow Removal Equipment Storage Buildings, Kodiak AK, 1999

This project is actually two buildings, one for the storage of sand and urea for runway maintenance, and one building for storage and maintenance of airport snow removal equipment at the State Airport in Kodiak. This project is very similar to the King Salmon, Unalaska and Iliamna jobs we did for AK DOT&PF. The bid format was a design-build RFP. The project was awarded in March 1999 and was completed by the end of October.
