Royal Celebrity Tours Anchorage Rail Facility, 2001

This owner contacted us to design and construct a facility for maintenance of railcars, administrative offices, and a prep kitchen. Essentially, it a much-refined version of the Princess Tours railcar Facility we designed and constructed almost 10years ago. The facility is a pre-engineered steel frame with insulated steel wall and roof panels, and includes a complete prep kitchen, office areas, storage, and a rail car bay with a 15-ton bridge crane. The design ream included Coffman Engineers, Cole & Thompson Architects and RSA Engineering. Subcontractors included BC Excavating, M&M Concrete, Slayden Plumbing & Heating and Safe-T-Way Electric.
